While the ageless potency of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru's 'Tryst with Destiny' speech from the eve of India's Independence in August 1947 keeps the electricity sputtering at the edges, it's easy to miss the undertones - a marriage of sleek, whiplash-inducing drum design to the absurdist vestiges of '90s glitch music and other textural murk. Haunted choirs and plaintive pads deliver up curve-flattening harmonies of disorder to cause rabid, involuntary muscle movements in even the stiffest of test subjects
